Ruby discovered yoga at an early age as a parallel to dance, noticing how the two forms of moving and working with the body are intertwined. Observing this connection led her to develop an even deeper interest in yoga not just as a physical asana practice, but as a philosophy and mode of self-betterment and care. She completed her 200-hour certification in 2017 at the Devanadi Yoga School of Yoga and Wellness in Minneapolis, MN. Alongside an intensive study in yoga asana and philosophy, in this enlightening program she also received training in Ayurvedic medicine, anatomy, yoga therapy and an intro to Thai yoga body work.
In her classes and practice, Ruby focuses on finding alignment and ease in the body while at the same time building strength and stamina. She always incorporates pranayama (breathing) techniques and meditation in order to calm the mind and cultivate peace in the whole being, deepening a personal connection to self and one's surroundings.
Ruby currently teaches weekly classes at Eden Club Femme & Le Conservatoire D'Art et de Musique in Tangier, Morocco.
