is a dance artist who seeks to illuminate the awe in her surroundings by sculpting falls, stumbles, and asymmetries gracefully. She spent two years in the Conservation Corps, where she faced the reality of climate change and has since dedicated her work to bringing awareness and justice to this crisis. Alongside RJDT, Brenna currently dances for Threads Dance Project, Alternative Motion Project, and Bernadette Knaeble. She also is the Artistic Director of Analog Dance Works, a dance company whose mission is to explore the intersection between dance and science through choreographic works and roundtable discussions.

(BzyChln) is a Twin Cities-based multidisciplinary artist who has been passionately devoted to dance for over 16 years, specializing in the fusion of open-based modern with waving from the popping and animation foundations. His artistic journey has led him to grace the stages of prestigious venues in the Twin Cities, including The Ordway, Guthrie Theater, and First Avenue. In 2022, Bzy’s choreography was featured at the 50th Anniversary Choreographers' Evening. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Jake has been studying and performing dance since the age of three and teaching since age 12. He received his BFA in Dance and Kinesiology with expertise in tap, modern, jazz, hip hop, international and ballroom styles. He has an interest in physical therapy and yoga and works as a performing artist, choreographer, and dance teacher in the Twin Cities area. Currently, Jake is a company member of Black Label Movement and Rhythmically Speaking and has been (or continues to be) a guest artist for local projects with Contempo Physical Dance, Mixtape, Threads Dance Project, Flying Foot Forum, Katha Dance Theatre, Eau Claire Dance, STRONGmovement, and performed in Stephan Koplowitz’s Northfield Experience. Jake is an instructor at Prairie School of Dance as well as Ballare Teatro Performing Arts Center.

Fresh from the farm, Karen Christ Aalgaard hails from Lakota, Iowa. She is a graduate from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Dance. Prior to college she studied under the direction of Michelle Clegg. Along with RJDT she does her bionic boogie with Threads Dance Project, Analog Dance Works and Vox Medusa. Karen is a teaching artist through out the Twin Cities and founder of 43⁰N 94⁰W Movement Research.

She graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Spanish Language from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, where she had the privilege of studying with Danny Buraczeski. In Texas, she worked with Leslie Scates of Lower Left, Frame Dance, and Psophonia Dance Company. Since returning to Minneapolis in 2019, she has choreographed and performed with a wide variety of local companies. She currently creates #betchesnburlesque: a monthly parody dance cabaret at the Bryant Lake Bowl. She was also a co-creator of Crude Tuesday, a monthly community program which aimed to give movement artists an accessible platform to perform and engage with an audience. You can currently find her adult classes at Hot House via Community Movement Collective and Zenon Dance School.

is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, teacher, and studio owner in Minneapolis. She is immersed in the Minnesota dance scene via her tenure with Crash Dance Productions; her co-ownership of Hothouse dance studio; and her instruction at studios throughout the Twin Cities Metro. Laura has performed across Minneapolis in over a dozen Crash productions including Proxy (2019); Domino (2020); and Rites (2023). Along with dance, Laura also works full time in Production, with a niche for capturing dancers via film and photography. She is known for her unique choreographic style and compelling storytelling. She has a passion for sharing dance with anyone who wants access to it, as well as facilitating space for other teaching artists to share their unique point-of-view to the dance community.

Originally from Wisconsin, Sara graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. Upon graduation, Sara danced and toured with 10,000 Feet Dance Company, Kayle + Co. and The Architects before relocating to Minneapolis. Local performance credits include Borealis Dance Theatre, Alexandra Bodnarchuk, MN Opera, Dance & Other Behaviors, Rogue & Rabble Dance. She is a company member with Threads Dance Project and Rhythmically Speaking, and a founding company member of Concerto Dance.

is from Des Moines, Iowa where she started her dance training at a young age. Shannon graduated high school early to attend Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program in NYC before attending college. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a BFA in Dance, Minor in Communication Studies, and a Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. During her time at UI, she worked with Monica Bill Barnes, Jennifer Kayle, Christopher Rasheem-McMillan, Eloy Barragan, Armando Duarte, and toured with UI's Dancers in Company along with traveling to perform at ACDA, the American Dance Guild, and Hollins University. Now, she resides in the Twin Cities area and is a company member with Threads Dance Project and actively participates in project based work and teaches throughout the cities.
