ABOUT THE SHOW

Presented by Ruby Josephine Dance Theater (RJDT), Grounds explores spaces where we experience moments of ordinary and extraordinary human connection. Debates, rituals, activism, daydreams, isolation, relationships. Around a shared cup of coffee, we gather and move together.

This is not your typical dance concert. At this event, you are free to roam around the space, change where you sit, stand, and observe, grab a cup of coffee or tea mid-performance, and will even at times be invited to participate.*

The running time of our show is about 35 minutes, however we welcome everyone to stay afterwards to eat, drink and converse amongst each other and with our artists, enjoying the space and the community.
